O-rings

One of the main products coated at Brüning Flexible Finishes BV are O-Rings.
O-Rings are used in many industries and have different applications.
Typically, O-Rings (and its little brother, the X-Ring) are used as seals.
Think of water pipes, flue pipes and seals in your coffee maker or washing machine.
Although they are usually invisible, the structure cannot function properly/safely without O-Rings.
Coating O-Rings adds an extra feature.
These properties can be functional as well as visual.

Our coatings can have different purposes, the most common being:

• Mounting aid (anti stick/low friction)
• Visual (size recognition by color)
• Chemical resistance
• Longer lifespan
• Wear protection
• Noise reduction/prevention of quitsch noise by moving over each other
• FDA and drinking water approved coatings
• Application area marking (e.g. the yellow O Ring for gas, the blue for water)

Our coating of O-Rings is usually done in automated drum spraying machines.

At Brüning Flexible Finishes BV, we have 2 automatic drums that range in capacity from 5 liters to 75 liters.
This allows us to process orders from a few hundred O-Rings to orders of millions of O-Rings.
The choice of coating always depends on the ultimate function of the O-Ring.
A coating will be chosen in consultation with the customer.
